Where is it?
Pueblo Mascarat is built atop cliffs between Altea and Calpe on Spain’s Costa Blanca. It is less than than an hours drive from Alicante airport and slightly more to Valencia airport.
What does it look like?
Construction was completed in April 2004. The apartment is fully furnished with air conditioning and heating, a
cooker and washing machine.
The
master bedroom has a double bed, the
second bedroom two singles. A sofa bed in the
lounge sleeps two.
What’s nearby?
There are two communal
swimming pools, and
tennis courts for inhabitants of the complex. Swimming pools and changing facilities at the nearby Altea Hills resort are available to apartment owners with an entry card.
There are two secluded pebble beaches immediately below the Mascarat cliffs. Nearest sand beaches are at Calpe (5km / 3 miles) and Benidorm (25km / 15.5 miles). There are good restaurants in the Marina, a few minutes walk away, and a great many in Altea (7km / 4.5 miles). The nightlife is particularly good in summer in Altea, Calpe, and of course, Benidorm.
Altea has a tourist office on the beach front with details of the Terra Mitica, Mundomar and Aqualandia theme parks near Benidorm, as well as
golf facilities,
horse riding,
quad biking, and many other activities. The area is also renowned for it’s
rock climbing and
cycling - many professional cycling teams and amateur training camps use the area as a winter training ground.
